Ruiz to miss the rest of Fulham season

Fulham winger Bryan Ruiz has suffered a broken foot and will miss the rest of the season, manager Martin Jol said today.

The Costa Rican international was injured in Saturday's 3-0 win at Bolton Wanderers and had to be carried off after 73 minutes.

Ruiz didn't feature in Fulham's 1-1 draw at home to west London rivals Chelsea at Craven Cottage and Jol, speaking afterwards, said of Ruiz: "He broke his foot so he will be out until June or July. It is a metatarsal issue."
