Laudrup: Swansea was mystery to me

New Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has admitted he knew so little about the Welsh club that he had to carry out wide-ranging research into the Premier League side.
The 48-year-old former Barcelona and Real Madrid midfielder, who has replaced Brendan Rodgers at the Liberty Stadium, added that his enquiries produced only positive results.
"I didn't know so much [about Swansea], to be honest," said the Dane, who has also coached Getafe, Spartak Moscow and Real Mallorca. "The people I talked to were very positive [about Swansea]. People said 'Michael it would be a good club for you'."
Laudrup, who won 104 caps for Denmark, has replaced Rodgers who left to take over at Liverpool.
